what i got up to on the easter hols
what i got up to on the easter hols...
it was a pretty ho-hum first week of the hols.. spent time with my man.. boozing, talking, tickling, cuddling, walking, eating and just being the bums that we are.
Easter weekend was hectic because we had two great blokes visit us from Sydney:

We went clubbing for two consecutive nights - well worth it as we had heaps of fun.
The down side is i lost my mobile :( so if you've been trying to ring me.. well.. boo hoo. if you need me, ring either larla, jeff or chippy. I'm always with one of them. or you can try our land line.

Highlights in the Southern High Lands
Last Tuesday, chippy (with his friend James) picked me up from canberra to see his pretty country town of Moss Vale in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales.
i had a great time (or as james would say.. it was gourmet).. when we got there.. i met his lovely lovely parents and the most adorable dog Sarge. We chilled and played Switch (i suck at this game! or maybe they were just cheating) had an awesome dinner courtesy of Chippy's secret superior cooking skills (roast lamb and potatoes.. yum yum yum). After which.. we went out back to the patio, swigged our beer and talked shit (mostly they paid me out the morons!)
Wednesday.. Chippy took me to Symbio Wild Life Park. I got to see and feed australian animals! I was like a lil kiddo prancing around.. shying away from the animals and posing beside the creatures while daddy chippy snapped away. I also touched some kind of eeky lizard like thing and a snake coz he made me.

After a long detour which almost brought us all the way to Sydney (we were in Sydney for a bout 5 mins) we went home knackered but giddy. Since Mr. and Mrs. Smith were away on holiday us kids (me, chips, boo and james) were left to our devices. they fired up the grill and we had a very filling dinner of barbecued steaks and pasta. They paid me out again of course, because i couldn't cut my own steak :( it was tough but it was gourmet. thanks boo!

Thursday, boo and chippy brought me to Fitzroy Falls. We had a kick arse massive lunch prepared so lovingly by Red and beachy. It was great and it was much needed as the two moron brothers took me to a surprise BUSH WALK! Me!!! bush walking! In my thongs and jeans and pretty bag. Hahaha. I didn't whinge as much as I thought I would. i only shrieked once in a while whenever I hear a rustle or when i step on something. Hey! I've just been to the animal park . i know all about the australian wild life now! chippy would just grumble at me to behave myself with threats of leaving me behind if I make a big deal out of sparrows and branches and some other imagined dangers of the bush. It was great though. the views in the look outs were well worth the 40 minute 3km bush walk. And I needed the exercise anyway after having eaten so well all through my stay at the Smith house.

Phew. see?! i did go bush walking. crossing bridges and parting vimes. . And if you still don't believe me. Ill show you the blisters I got from the blasted walk. hahaha.
We went back to Chippy's after that where I was able to say thank you and g'bye to Gray and Leigh for their hospitality and to give Chips time to relax before the drive back to canberra.
We had a long talk about the state of our relationships and love lives during the 1 1/2 hour trip.
when we got back to canberra. we met up with the people we missed while we were in the country town.
