october's fests

It might have been last weekend (or maybe the one before) when I was running through civic to catch the same bus my friends were on that would take us to oktoberfest.

That was my first ever oktoberfest and it made it even more real to me as we had two germans with us to say which are authentic german beer and those that are just piss. Had my first bratwurst, my first beer specially brewed for the oktoberfest and the first time i danced the chicken dance (in my seat) 5 times. PHEW!

We had to leave straightaway though coz everything was ridiculously expensive.. and us being poor uni students decided to migrate to the lighty where we can afford the dollar drinks! wuhoo!
Watched the footy and got oh. so. wasted. and made a new friend in jaimee the gorgeous girl from colorado who converted me to a whiskey loving girl.

STONEFEST

So i wasn't supposed to go. But i did anyway. Larla said the noise from uni kept them up anyway so might as well be there in the heart of the action. I came with jeff and his friends and we all came pretty pissed as we all knew the drinks there would be ludicrously expensive. Had great fun that could only be had in crazy music festivals such as stonefest. Did a couple of things for the first time too.. but let's not get into that. . . . just check out the photos.

that's all i have about the festive October month. This semester is just about over.

Wish me luck on my exams!

and just a little something that i saw/stole from an old friend's blog.. This happens to me exactly.
